Recycling & Processing
Our zero-waste facility transforms every pallet into something valuable. Nothing ends up in a landfill.
Schedule Pallet Recycling
The Recycling Process
Our processing facility handles over 50,000 pallets monthly. Each one is carefully dismantled and sorted to maximize material recovery and minimize waste.
Sorting
Pallets are sorted by size, wood type, and condition.
Dismantling
End-of-life pallets are carefully taken apart. Reusable boards are separated for repair stock.
Processing
Non-reusable wood is ground, chipped, or shredded based on its intended secondary use.
Metal Recovery
All nails, screws, and metal fasteners are magnetically extracted and sent to metal recyclers.
Product Creation
Processed wood becomes mulch, animal bedding, biomass fuel, or compost material.
Material Recovery Rates
What Recycled Pallets Become
Every piece of wood finds a productive second life.
Repair Components
Sound boards and stringers are stockpiled for pallet repair, reducing the need for virgin lumber. Approximately 45% of dismantled material re-enters the pallet supply chain.
Landscape Mulch
Chipped and ground wood is processed into premium landscape mulch. Available in natural, brown, and red-dyed varieties. Sold in bulk to landscapers and garden centers.
Animal Bedding
Fine wood shavings are cleaned, dried, and packaged for equine, poultry, and livestock bedding. Free of chemical treatments and contaminants.
Biomass Fuel
Wood chips and sawdust are compressed into fuel pellets or sold as loose biomass to industrial boilers and power generation facilities.
Compost Feedstock
Ground wood is blended with nitrogen sources for commercial composting operations. Provides essential carbon structure for healthy decomposition.
Recycled Metal
Magnetically extracted nails and fasteners are baled and shipped to metal recyclers. Even the smallest components find a productive end use.
Annual Environmental Impact
Our recycling operations prevent massive amounts of waste and emissions every year.
Pallets recycled annually
Tons of wood diverted from landfills
Metric tons of CO₂ prevented
Trees worth of lumber saved
Sustainability Documentation Included
Every recycling customer receives detailed environmental impact reports showing pallets processed, materials recovered, waste diverted, and carbon emissions prevented. This documentation is formatted for direct integration into GRI, SASB, CDP, and corporate ESG reporting frameworks. Our compliance team, led by Nolan Prescott, can customize reporting to match your specific disclosure requirements.
